Roof leak specialist

Job Summary: THIS IS AN EMPLOYED POSITION. NO RECRUITERS, OR SUB/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS PLEASE
We are looking for someone who can find and fix all manors of roof leaks. This person would also be responsible for performing multiple other disciplines of exterior home repair when there are no leak calls. This could include but not limited to siding repair, deck repair, concrete/asphalt patching, framing/carpentry repair, window/door repair.

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrate construction skills that include leak discovery/repair on shingle roofs.
Willingness to learn perform other and potentially new aspects of exterior home repairs.
Ability to plan ahead and problem solve.
Willingness to pass along your skills to other team members.
Understand the requirements of each project. Perform within time and material budgets.
The ability to identify & correct deficiencies.
Care and safe operation of all types of tools.
Adhering to all safety standards & requirements.
Assessing project scopes and making recommendations to management and/or sales team.
Maintain a clean & safe job site at all times.

Qualification Requirements:

Previous construction trades experience. Experience in roofing (flat & shingle), siding, framing, or carpentry is an asset.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to work a productive 8-hour workday Ability to lift weight up to 100lbs.
Self-motivated & team player.
Effective communicator, verbal and written.
Possess good organizational and time management skills.
Reliable and consistently punctual with an eye for detail.
Provide personal toolbelt and basic essential hand tools. Hammer, tape measure etc.
