Roofing Service Technician (Leak Repair)

Ranger Roofing and Solar is a licensed roofing and solar contractor (CSLB #1107898) serving residential, commercial, and public agency clients across Southern California. We are hiring experienced Roofing Service Technicians to handle leak calls, repairs, and maintenance across our project portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and repair leaks on TPO and other single ply, shingle, tile, and metal roof systems
• Perform roof inspections and document conditions with photos and written reports
• Complete flashing, sealant, patch, and detail repairs to manufacturer specification
• Handle preventive maintenance calls and warranty service work
• Support reroof crews on tear off, deck prep, underlayment, and waterproofing details as needed
• Remove and reinstall solar panels on reroof projects
• Follow all safety procedures including fall protection, PPE, and jobsite rules
• Coordinate with the superintendent and project managers on scheduling and scope

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of roofing experience with hands-on repair and troubleshooting ability
• Able to work independently and make sound calls in the field without supervision
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites
• Basic English communication for safety and jobsite coordination; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Prevailing wage or public works experience preferred

• Pay: $33 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, day shift, overtime available

Note: Work performed on public works projects is paid at the applicable prevailing wage rate, which is higher than the range above.

Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening following a conditional offer of employment.

Location: Los Angeles, CA, with jobsites throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties
