RV LOT ATTENDANT / SHOP HELPER – MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

LOT ATTENDANT / GENERAL SHOP HELPER – FULL-TIME + SATURDAY HOURS AVAILABLE

State 48 RV is a family-owned RV dealership in Apache Junction. We sell and repair RVs, cars, trucks, boats, and ATVs. We also install hitches, solar systems, and other equipment.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking person who can jump in and help wherever needed. Mechanical, automotive, or RV experience is strongly preferred.

This is a hands-on position with a variety of daily duties, including:

• Washing and detailing RVs, cars, trucks, boats, and ATVs
• Assisting with mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Helping with RV repairs and equipment installations
• Changing tires
• Moving and organizing vehicles around the lot
• Picking up parts and supplies
• Taking vehicles for fuel, emissions testing, and other errands
• Cleaning and maintaining the shop and lot
• Assisting the owners and other employees as needed

LET’S BE HONEST ABOUT THE JOB:

This is not a clean or glamorous position. Some days are hot, dirty, physical, and downright unpleasant. You may be washing an RV, changing a tire, cleaning something nasty, running for parts, or crawling underneath a vehicle—all in the same day.

If you enjoy working with your hands, can handle a little dirt, and take pride in getting the job done, you may be a great fit. We literally have the most amazing customers! 

HOURS:

Monday–Friday, starting promptly at 7:30 a.m.

We are also open Saturdays, so additional hours and extra earning potential may be available.

We are closed on all major holidays.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Dependable and on time
• Strong work ethic
• Mechanical, automotive, or RV experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Comfortable working outdoors and in the Arizona heat
• Able to perform physical work and lift as needed
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Forklift experience is a bonus
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Willing to tackle both skilled work and basic cleanup without complaining

Compensation is based on experience.
