As a growing team, we’re looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Safety Officer to help uphold our safety standards and protect what matters most: our people.
✅ Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce safety protocols across active job sites
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety meetings
- Investigate incidents and near-misses and follow up with corrective action
- Train employees and subcontractors on safety procedures and compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and site-specific safety plans
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and leadership to promote a culture of safety
- Prior experience as a safety officer in construction (tenant improvement a plus)
- Strong understanding of OSHA and Cal/OSHA standards
- Effective communicator and confident working in the field
- OSHA 30 certification required
- First Aid/CPR certified (or willingness to obtain)
- Presentable appearance
- Clean DMV
- Proficient at using email and text on a smart phone or tablet to keep records of daily activities and job site visits.
- Good English speaking and bilingual a plus.
- Must possess good attitude and ability to interact professionally with all tradesmen from other companies, as well as possible interaction with high-level clients.
