Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Scaffold Builders and Concrete Form Carpenters for a commercial/industrial project in Carrollton, KY!

HOURS: 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
SCHEDULE: 1st Shift, 6:30am-5:30pm
START DATE: ASAP

Scaffold Builder Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Scaffold Builders to build, modify, and demolish approximately 115 feet of scaffold around a tank.

Qualifications for Scaffold Builder:

Minimum of 2 years of scaffolding experience.

Experience building, modifying, and dismantling scaffold.
Must be comfortable working at heights.
Must be able to safely use fall protection equipment.
Must follow all jobsite safety procedures.
Local candidates in the Carrollton area are preferred, as no per diem is provided.
Required / Preferred Certifications:

Job Duties

Set concrete forms

Tie rebar and assist with reinforcement
Place, pour, level, and finish concrete
skid steer operation
Perform general concrete labor and carpentry duties as needed
Qualifications

2+ years of commercial concrete and/or carpentry experience
Experience with formwork, rebar, concrete placement
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Reliable transportation
Willingness to travel as needed
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Proper use of PPE required - Hard Hat, Vest, Safety Glasses, Gloves Steel toe Boots

OSHA 10 preferred.

Scaffold certification preferred.
CPT certification preferred.
TWIC badge preferred but not required.
TWIC required.
PPE Required:

Hard hat

High-visibility shirt or vest
Gloves
Safety glasses
Harness
Lanyards
Physical Requirements:

Work at heights and around elevated structures.

Climb, stand, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
Perform physically demanding scaffolding work.
Wear and properly use required fall-protection equipment.
