Scenic Fabrication Shop Seeking Scenic Fabricators and Finishers

Brooklyn-based scenic fabrication shop specializing in retail environments, experiential marketing, events, and custom installations, is seeking qualified scenic fabricators to support upcoming projects.

We're looking for individuals with professional experience in one or more of the following:

Scenic carpentry

Technical drafting (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar)
Laminate fabrication
Metal fabrication and welding
Low-voltage electrical installation (LEDs, lighting, basic wiring)
Scenic finishing and painting
CNC operation and digital fabrication
Assembly, installation, and general fabrication

Please Note: This is not a general construction position. We are seeking applicants with relevant scenic fabrication, exhibit, museum, theatrical, retail display, experiential, or custom fabrication industry experience only. General residential or commercial construction experience alone is not considered sufficient for this role.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, able to read shop drawings, proficient with hand and power tools, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

This is freelance/1099 project-based work with the opportunity for ongoing assignments for the right individuals. Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
