Screen Technician

The Silva Way is seeking an experienced Screen Technician to support our screen-printing production team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality screens that keep production running efficiently and accurately.

We're looking for someone with experience in apparel screen printing who understands the importance of quality screen preparation and production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Coat, expose, wash out, and reclaim screens for apparel production
Inspect screens for pinholes, image quality, and registration accuracy
Prepare screens according to production schedules
Maintain screen room equipment and chemicals
Properly clean, degrease, and reclaim screens for reuse
Organize screens and maintain an efficient screen room
Communicate with production artists and press operators to resolve artwork or screen issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience preparing screens for apparel screen printing required
Knowledge of screen coating, exposure, reclaiming, and screen maintenance
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and prioritize production schedules
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Experience with automatic screen-printing production is preferred

Schedule:

Monday- Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Overtime available during peak seasons

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting at $18/hr DOE
Health benefits available after 90 days for employees working 32+ hours per week
