Seamstress – Luxury Pillow & Home Décor Production

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team creating high-end decorative pillows and home décor. The ideal candidate has experience sewing luxury soft furnishings with exceptional craftsmanship and takes pride in producing flawless, designer-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Sew premium decorative pillow covers and bolster pillows to precise specifications.
• Install invisible zippers with clean, professional finishes.
• Create and attach piping (corded welting) with accurate corners and seams.
• Apply decorative trims, including fringe, brush fringe, tassels, and other embellishments.
• Assemble and sew a variety of luxury fabrics, including velvets, tweed, and cotton.
• Match patterns and maintain consistent fabric grain and alignment.
• Inspect finished products to ensure superior quality, accuracy, and durability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sewing workspace.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience sewing high-end decorative pillows, cushions, or upholstery.
• Proficiency operating industrial sewing machines and sergers.
• Experience sewing invisible zippers, piping, and decorative trims.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and sewing specifications accurately.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing luxury-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in custom home décor, interior design workrooms, or upholstery.
• Knowledge of premium fabrics and fabric handling techniques.
• Experience with pattern matching and custom-sized pillow production.
