Seamstress / Sewing Technician – Small Textile Studio

Songland Farms is a small working farm and textile goods company based in the Wimberley/Dripping Springs area. We produce handcrafted aprons and market bags using collectible vintage fabrics sourced from historic American and European textile houses.

Our business has grown quickly and we are looking to add a couple skilled seamstresses to help with small-batch production. This is not hobby sewing.

The work involves sewing aprons and bags using pre-cut materials and established patterns. This is clean, straightforward sewing work using high quality fabrics in a calm studio environment.

Details

• Location: Dripping Springs area
• Full-time preferred (part time potential)
• Flexible schedule
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Production quota bonus + room to grow
• Paid trial period of weeks-months required for quality assurance some of which can be done from home.

Start Date: May 4th

Ideal candidate

• Strong sewing fundamentals
• Experience with garment construction or production sewing
• Comfortable working with consistent patterns
• Attention to detail and clean stitching

Industrial machine experience is a major plus.
