SEASONAL HOLIDAY LIGHT INSTALLER

Reno Tahoe Holiday Lights, a TruKeep company, is hiring dependable seasonal holiday light installers in the Reno–Sparks–Lake Tahoe area.

This is a seasonal, hands-on position that may be a good fit for roofers, painters, firefighters, tree climbers, construction workers, window cleaners, solar installers, and others who are comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and outdoors.

$20–$35 per hour, depending on experience and ability

Opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement may be available for experienced crew leaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Holiday Light Installer, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove holiday lighting on residential and commercial properties. The work is physical and requires safely using ladders, working at heights, carrying equipment, and working outdoors in changing weather conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install holiday lights, clips, extension cords, timers, and related equipment
• Safely work from ladders and on various roof types
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting when necessary
• Remove, organize, and store lighting after the holiday season
• Maintain a clean and professional jobsite
• Communicate respectfully with customers
• Follow company safety procedures and installation standards
• Work independently and as part of a crew

QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable working on ladders and roofs
• Experience in roofing, painting, firefighting, tree work, construction, exterior cleaning, solar installation, or a similar trade is helpful
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Able to safely lift and carry ladders, tools, and equipment
• Willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, professional work
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable work truck suitable for transporting ladders, tools, and lighting equipment

Holiday-lighting experience is helpful but not required. We will train qualified candidates who have strong ladder skills, a safety-focused mindset, and a dependable work ethic.

SCHEDULE

Hours may vary based on weather, customer demand, and installation schedules. Some early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required during the busiest part of the season.
