Seeking Entry Level Automotive Technician

We have a program for entry level or junior technicians.

Applicants should have less than 2 years of professional auto repair experience.

This can be a full or part time role, minimum 2.5 days per week – some Saturdays required. It can also be seasonal, with more time during the Summer.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or have completed 1 year of automotive tech school
• Current drivers license
• Ability to commute to Mount Kisco, NY
• Very mechanically inclined
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with computers
• Interest in learning ALL aspects of automotive business

Our goal is to either find someone who will grow with us, from entry level to seasoned technician or prepare them well for future jobs in our industry.

In addition to auto repair, you will be involved in various business activities including:

• Writing repair orders and estimates
• Customer check in and check out
• Inventory
• Shop clean up

Who are we?
We are Meineke Mount Kisco. Some technicians think that Meineke’s do not do real work. THAT IS WRONG. We do everything. We handle check engine lights, timing belts, electrical issues, welding and other repairs.

We see all brands of cars. Since we are NOT a dealer, you will expose you to all brands of cars and all types of repairs. You’ll learn more with us than working at a dealer.

Additionally, you’ll get exposed to the business side of things. You’ll learn about pricing, strategy, and customer interaction.

Compensation:

Starting wages will reflect experience.
Wage increases will follow a predefined path based on completion of certain skill based milestones. This means, as your experience deepens and you become more productive, your value to us increases and you will be rewarded accordingly.
