Seeking Experienced Jeweler: Off-Site / Pickup & Drop-Off

Established jewelry shop in the Tri-Cities, VA area seeking an experienced, reliable independent bench jeweler for ongoing contract repair work.

This is an off-site position. Jeweler must pick up jewelry, complete repairs at their own workspace, and return finished pieces within 1 week.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of professional jewelry repair experience, including:

• Ring sizing and repairs
• Chain soldering
• Rhodium plating
• Prong repair and retipping
• Stone setting and tightening
• Clasp and bracelet repairs
• Polishing and refinishing
• Other common jewelry repairs

REQUIREMENTS

• Provide your own tools, equipment, and workspace
• Reliable pickup and drop-off in the Tri-Cities area
• Maximum 1-week turnaround, including delivery
• Minimum $10,000 insurance coverage for customer jewelry, including transportation
• Willing to complete an in-shop bench test
• Willing to undergo a background check
• Professional references available upon request

COMPENSATION

Paid per completed repair based on our store's established price list. Ongoing contract work available.
