This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of waterproofing systems, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As a Waterproofing Superintendent, you will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver durable, reliable waterproofing solutions that meet project specifications and industry standards. RESPONSIBILITIES ~

• Lead and supervise waterproofing installation teams on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols.
• Develop detailed work plans and schedules using construction management software.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately for waterproofing systems.
• Monitor project progress daily, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and contract specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, procurement of materials, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel, providing guidance on best practices in waterproofing techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, incident logs, inspection records, and change orders using construction management software like Bluebeam.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety standards by conducting regular safety meetings and site audits.

REQUIREMENTS~

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on waterproofing or related trades such as roofing or below-grade systems.
• Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with construction management software is essential.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to construction sites involving waterproofing activities.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, subcontractors, clients, and vendors effectively.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred; familiarity with contracts and project budgeting is advantageous.
