Seeking HVAC Mechanics/Technicians

University of Vermont is recruiting for HVAC Mechanics/Technicians to perform skilled work in installation, maintenance, and repair of campus building heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and controls.

Minimum qualifications or equivalencies:

High School diploma
Three years’ experience in HVAC equipment and controls installation, maintenance and repair
Vermont Natural Gas Installer Certification or ability to acquire within six months
Refrigerant Recovery Certification
Experience using computers and mobile technology
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain and driver’s check

Position may be hired a at either HVAC Mechanic (no VT Type S C3 license) or HVAC Technician (holds VT Type S C3 license) level depending upon qualifications

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check, drivers check, and physical screening.
