Description
Job Title: Industrial / Heavy Equipment Electrician
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems for large industrial and heavy equipment, including motors, pumps, sensors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, and 480V power systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions in electrical and control systems to minimize operational downtime.
Install, repair, and replace wiring, components, motors, sensors, relays, and related electrical equipment.
Work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as they interface with electrical controls.
Provide on-site technical support during equipment operations, addressing electrical issues in real-time.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong proficiency working with industrial electrical systems including motors, pumps, sensors, relays, PLCs, VFDs, 480V systems, transformers, and associated wiring.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex electrical issues in industrial or heavy equipment environments.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
Comfortable working on your feet for the majority of 12-hour shifts in outdoor environments.
Ability to work any day of the week, including dayshift or night shift as needed.
Valid United States Driver's License.
Ability to lift and haul 25 lbs unassisted.
Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, push, and pull.
Position will require work in heavy construction environments.
