Semi Trailer Mechanic — Dry Van & Reefer

Hawk Logistics is looking for a Trailer Mechanic to keep our fleet of 100+ dry van and reefer trailers road-ready. You'll be doing PM services, repairs, and reefer unit servicing on a fleet that actually moves freight across the country — and we're growing.

What You'll Do:

Perform scheduled PM services on dry van and reefer trailers
Diagnose and repair trailer systems: brakes, suspension, electrical, tires, landing gear, doors, lights
Service, diagnose, and repair reefer units (Thermo King / Carrier experience preferred)
Keep accurate maintenance records and inspection reports
Work with the shop team to keep trailers turning and out of the shop, not sitting in it
Follow DOT compliance standards on every trailer that leaves the yard

What You Bring:

Experience as a trailer mechanic or fleet maintenance tech (dry van required, reefer experience strongly preferred or willing to train)
Reefer unit troubleshooting and repair skills (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
Own tools for the trade
Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, not required)
Reliable, shows up, works clean, communicates when something's wrong
Diesel Mechanic
Heavy Duty Mechanic
