SENIOR HVAC SERVICE & SALES TECHNICIAN WANTED

We are an established, family-owned HVAC company serving the Chicagoland area and are looking for an experienced residential HVAC Service & Sales Technician to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for a seasoned technician who knows how to diagnose HVAC systems, communicate confidently with homeowners, make the repair when repair is the right solution, and recognize and present replacement opportunities when replacement makes more sense.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

5+ years of residential HVAC service experience

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

EPA certification

Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, boilers and related residential HVAC equipment

Ability to work independently and confidently in customers’ homes

Excellent communication and customer-service skills

Comfortable explaining repair, upgrade and replacement options

Proven ability to generate and close replacement and accessory sales

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

Competitive hourly base pay based on experience

Commission and spiffs in addition to hourly pay

Strong technicians have the opportunity to earn $100,000–$250,000 annually—or MORE!

THE TECHNICIAN WE WANT:

You don’t need someone standing over your shoulder telling you how to diagnose a furnace.

You’ve been doing this long enough to know the difference between a system that should be repaired and one where the homeowner should seriously consider replacement.

You’re comfortable sitting down with a homeowner, explaining what you’ve found in plain English, presenting their options, and asking for the sale.

You take care of the customer, but you also understand that service and sales go hand in hand in a successful residential HVAC company.
