POSITION PURPOSE
The Service Electrician is responsible for performing journey-level electrical service work, including troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team across a wide range of service calls. The electrician ensures all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and in full compliance with applicable building codes, electrical standards, and project specifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions.
Perform main service upgrades and sub-panel replacements.
Install electric vehicle charging stations.
Complete LED lighting retrofits, additions, and custom lighting upgrades.
Install generators and battery backup systems.
Perform wiring for new or remodeled installations.
Conduct testing of electrical systems and equipment for safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Complete small electrical jobs and day-to-day service repairs.
Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing clear explanations of work performed.
Maintain accurate documentation, including service notes, job site reports, and photos.
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
Represent the company professionally with strong customer service and communication skills.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
5 years of residential electrical service experience (Required).
Commercial electrical troubleshooting experience (Preferred, not required).
Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening upon request.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in residential electrical systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
Knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and residential system standards.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Experience with Service Titan or other equivalent service software.
