SERVICE ELECTRICIAN – Part-Time with Full-Time Potential

Seeking an experienced, dependable Service Electrician to serve customers throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County, California.

This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to develop into consistent full-time work based on performance, reliability, and workload. The position offers significant flexibility and freedom to manage your own schedule, provided that required arrival times are met, scheduled appointments are kept, and all deadlines are completed on time. Emergency calls may arise, and on-call availability is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues

Perform commercial and residential service work
Maintain a clean-cut, well-maintained, well-groomed, and presentable personal appearance; arrive clean, fresh-smelling, and appropriately presented when representing the company to customers
Handle small electrical projects from start to finish
Evaluate jobs and estimate the labor time required
Prepare accurate material lists before beginning work
Provide clear job updates, progress notes, and completion reports through the company portal
Document completed work and upload jobsite photos through the company portal
Review assignments, communicate with company management, and submit required updates and reports through the company portal
Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and company management
Demonstrate strong customer-handling skills in every interaction
Keep scheduled appointments and arrive at jobsites on time
Keep work areas neat, clean, and safe, and leave them better than they were found
Respond to emergency service calls when available, with on-call availability preferred
Work cooperatively with customers, company management, and other team members
Qualifications:

Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience independently completing service calls
Ability to read plans, identify electrical materials, and plan small projects
Ability to accurately estimate labor hours and material requirements
Articulate, professional, and able to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong customer-handling and customer-service skills
Team player with a cooperative, positive, and dependable attitude
Dependable, punctual, organized, and responsive
Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers
Comfortable using apps, software programs, and digital tools to access the company portal, receive assignments, communicate with management, and submit job updates, reports, photos, and other required documentation
Able to learn and adapt to new apps, programs, and technology as needed
Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Appropriate hand tools and testing equipment
California electrical certification or an applicable license preferred
Availability for emergency calls and on-call work preferred
