Service Technician - Custom Van Builds

Description

Service Technician - Custom Van Builds

Pay: $22-28/hour DOE
Benefits: 401(k) with Company Match

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Service Technician to join our custom van build team.

This is not a traditional automotive technician position. We are looking for someone with a broad range of hands-on skills who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and working on unique custom vehicles.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple trades, can confidently tackle unfamiliar challenges, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. We are willing to train the right individual on our systems and processes, but applicants should already possess a solid foundation of mechanical aptitude, craftsmanship, and troubleshooting ability.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a well-rounded tradesperson and problem solver, not somebody who only specializes in one area.

The right candidate might have a background in construction, marine service, RV service, fabrication, industrial maintenance, carpentry, electrical work, or automotive service. What matters most is the ability to learn quickly, think critically, work independently, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

We hire for attitude, aptitude, and craftsmanship. We can teach our systems, processes, and the specific products we work with, but we cannot teach pride in quality, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

If you're the type of person who enjoys figuring things out, takes ownership of your work, and wants to be part of building and servicing some of the most unique custom vans on the road, we'd love to hear from you.

To be considered, please submit photos of projects, repairs, installations, cabinetry, fabrication work, or other examples that demonstrate your craftsmanship, versatility, and problem-solving ability.

Bonus: Experience with custom vehicles, RVs, marine systems, fabrication, or 12V electrical systems is appreciated, but a proven ability to learn, adapt, and produce high-quality work is what we're truly looking for.
