Service Technician- Gym Equipment

Job Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of operable walls, gym equipment, and other architectural specialty products in commercial, educational, healthcare, and institutional settings. This role works directly with clients to identify service needs, complete repairs, and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on operable walls, gym equipment, and other specialty products.
Diagnoses service issues and identifies parts, materials, and repairs needed to complete service calls.
Installs and replaces specialty materials and equipment according to assigned scopes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
Communicates proactively and professionally with clients and works to resolve service-related concerns.
Communicates job status, completed work, follow-up needs, and required parts or materials to the Service Manager.
Maintains commonly used parts and materials in the assigned service vehicle for efficient field operations.
Uses company software to complete inventory transactions and document materials and parts used in the field.
Returns unused materials and parts to inventory in new and usable condition.
Electronically completes and stores service documentation, job notes, photos, and other required records.
Safely operates hand and power tools, ladders, and lifts, including scissor lifts.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and removes debris upon completion of each service job.
Follows company and jobsite safety requirements at all times.
Performs other related service, installation, and construction duties as assigned.
