Service Technician- Lawn Equipment $ 27-33/hr

We're looking for an experienced Service Technician to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on commercial Toro turf equipment. You'll be a key face of our business — both in the shop and in the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair commercial turf equipment (fairway, rough, and greens mowers, utility vehicles)
• Service gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
• Sharpen and reassemble cutting reels and blades
• Troubleshoot GeoLink and autonomous mower systems
• Complete service repair orders and track hours in our ERP system
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, warranty vs. billable issues
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and shared shop tools

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preference for 1-3 years of experience as a service technician or in related repair work
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics
• Must provide and maintain own tools
• Forklift certified (or ability to obtain certification)
• Valid driver's license preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with turf equipment
• Fluid Power Certification or ASE certifications
• Specialized education in gas/diesel repair

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently and 75 lbs. with assistance.
