Service Technicians & Helpers Wanted

We are looking for individuals to perform quality service and repairs on all types of gate operators, access control systems & crash equipment. This position will be part of our team of people responsible for maintaining and repairing perimeter security equipment using electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, service manuals, and other sources of information and materials. We are looking for applicants with a strong work ethic who are not afraid of hard work. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members.

Responsibilities and Job Tasks :

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs as needed
Perform maintenance inspections
Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues using proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis techniques
Organized and able to handle multiple priorities
Possess very strong problem-solving skills
· Must be able to read and interpret wiring schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals

Good computer skills (Apple, Android, MS Office)
· Receive daily work schedule electronically through Company Software System and travel to customer locations to inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and/or repair as noted on the work order.

· Must be presentable and possess the ability to speak with customers to build relationships.

· Be thorough and accurate when filling out all paperwork about the specific job.

· Be responsible for maintaining your own equipment, inventory, and vehicles.

· Be able to work overtime and/or possibility of being on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate.

· Follow all safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

· Candidates should possess good people skills, good communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.

· Qualified applicants will also need a positive and progressive attitude and be quality and customer service oriented.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; must be able to troubleshoot high & low voltage circuitry

· Ability to work remotely with little on-site supervision

· Familiarity with industry tools and must be proficient with using hand tools, power equipment & meters

· Hydraulic and Electrical experience a plus

· Ability to learn and work with dispatching software via handheld device

· Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

· Must have physical mobility as it is required for the position.

· Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Physical Demands / Work Environment: Strength, stooping, crawling, hearing, climbing, kneeling, depth perception, balancing, lifting 70 to 100 pounds, working outdoors in different climate conditions. Occasional overnight and weekend work.
