Sewer Technician

Description

Build a Career in One of the Fastest-Growing Skilled Trades

Truly Trenchless Sewer Solutions

Cambridge, Minnesota

Serving the Twin Cities Metro & Western Wisconsin

Not Looking for Just a Job? Build a Career.

America’s underground sewer infrastructure is aging, and trenchless sewer rehabilitation is one of the fastest-growing segments of the skilled trades.

Unlike many established trades, there isn’t a large pool of experienced sewer lining technicians to hire from. This technology is still relatively new, and the industry needs the next generation of skilled professionals to meet the growing demand.

At Truly Trenchless, we believe the future of this industry depends on developing talented people—not waiting for them to appear. We’re building the next generation of sewer lining professionals, and we’re willing to invest our time, knowledge, and resources into training the right individual from the ground up.

If you’re willing to work hard, learn every day, and take pride in doing difficult work the right way, we’ll invest in you and help you build a career in a trade that’s expected to remain in demand for decades to come.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll begin as a Sewer Lining Apprentice, learning every aspect of our business, including:

  • Drain cleaning
  • Sewer camera inspections
  • Trenchless sewer lining (CIPP)
  • Sewer excavation and repair
  • Operating specialized sewer rehabilitation equipment
  • Learning how to diagnose sewer problems and develop real-world solutions
  • Working both indoors and outdoors depending on the project
  • Climbing in and out of trenches, excavations, crawl spaces, and confined work areas
  • Providing exceptional customer service while representing Truly Trenchless professionally
Every day is different. Every project presents a new challenge. Every day you’ll learn something new.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

Let’s be honest…

This isn’t a clean office job, and it isn’t for everyone.

Some days you’ll be operating cutting-edge trenchless sewer lining equipment inside homes and commercial buildings. Other days you’ll be digging, climbing in and out of trenches, moving materials, working around mud and wastewater, and solving problems that most people don’t even know exist.

The work can be dirty. Our standards never are.

The people who succeed here genuinely enjoy working with their hands. They aren’t afraid to get dirty, solve problems, or do whatever it takes to get the job done safely and professionally.

If you’ve spent time on a farm, in construction, around heavy equipment, working on vehicles, fixing machinery, or simply enjoy figuring out how things work, you’ll probably fit right in.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Isn’t afraid of hard work or getting dirty
  • Is physically strong, agile, and fit enough to perform demanding manual labor
  • Can safely climb in and out of trenches and excavations throughout the day
  • Is willing to dig when the job requires it—because sometimes there’s no substitute for a shovel and hard work
  • Enjoys working indoors and outdoors depending on the project
  • Is mechanically inclined and enjoys working on tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Can troubleshoot problems and think outside the box
  • Learns quickly and enjoys mastering new technology
  • Takes pride in quality workmanship
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Understands that every day brings a different challenge
  • Wants to build a career instead of just earning a paycheck

What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, no-excuses attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and drug-free
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable personal transportation to and from our office in Cambridge, Minnesota
  • Comfortable towing and backing trailers
  • Able to pass a background check (no serious criminal history)
  • Plumbing, construction, mechanical, equipment, or trade experience is a plus—but not required
We’ll teach the right person.

Safety Is Our Priority

At Truly Trenchless, safety isn’t optional.

We believe every employee deserves to go home safely at the end of every workday. We provide training and follow OSHA safety practices, including trench safety, confined-space awareness, personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment operation, and safe jobsite procedures.

Working hard never means working unsafe.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay
  • Performance bonuses
  • Paid, hands-on training
  • A clear career path in a rapidly growing industry
  • Training in one of the newest and most
