Sewer & Water Excavation Operator (Residential Experience Only)

Denver Sewer Experts, LLC is hiring an experienced Residential Sewer Excavation Operator to join our fast-growing sewer and water division serving the Denver Metro area. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong excavation experience who can safely and efficiently perform residential sewer and water line excavation projects from start to finish and keep the crew in line. If you cannot run a crew do not call.

This is a hands-on position requiring experience operating mini excavators, understanding underground utilities, and working in residential environments. Applicants must be dependable, professional, safety-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in double sweep clean-outs, full sewer lines, pipe bursting, water lines, street excavation work and patching, digging around utilities, and just all around knowledge of this type of work. Minimum 5+ years of residential excavation experience preferred with a mini-excavator in a residential setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate mini excavators and excavation equipment safely and efficiently
Perform residential sewer and water line excavations
Assist with trenching, grading, backfill, and site restoration
Work alongside sewer installers and plumbing crews
Understand proper trench safety and OSHA excavation requirements
Locate and expose underground utilities safely
Assist with asphalt, concrete, and landscape removal/restoration as needed
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Follow project plans, utility locates, and inspection requirements
Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and office staff
Help load/unload materials and equipment
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Requirements
Ability to work in tight residential environments
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
CDL is a plus but not required

Pay
$35.00 – $45.00 per hour DOE
