Sewing Instructor Wanted — Kids & Adults — Kensington, BK ($35/hour)

Busy arts and crafts studio in Kensington, Brooklyn is seeking a sewing teacher to run our kids' and adults' sewing programs.

Who we are: The Craft Salon, Brooklyn's premier arts and crafts studio! We're looking for a sewing instructor to lead and grow our kids' and adults' sewing programs.

Who you are: A seasoned sewing instructor with experience teaching machine sewing to both kids (8+) and adults.

What we're looking for: A team member to lead our Saturday kids' sewing classes AND adult weeknight sewing classes. We supply machines, fabric, and materials — you bring the curriculum, know-how, and teaching chops.

Kids' classes: Saturdays, 10 AM – 12:30 PM, in 5–6 week rounds (scheduled around school breaks)
Adult classes: project-based (e.g., "Sew a Skirt" — 5 classes), Wednesdays 7 – 9:30 PM
Start date: mid-September
Small classes — 6 kids/adults max — with an assistant provided
Some flexibility on days/times

Pay: $35/hour

We're a fun, vibrant studio looking for a creative sewing expert to teach elevated projects to kids and adults alike.
