Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for flexible, project-based work. This is an ideal position for someone looking for supplemental income or a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, or daytime hours) with the ability to turn around projects quickly when customer demand arises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with heavy industrial materials, including fiberglass fabric with vinyl facing and lining.
• Accurately measure and cut materials using a rotary fabric cutter.
• Assemble panels, attach vinyl components, and stitch Velcro flaps in place to precise specifications.
• Manage workflow efficiently to meet occasional fast-turnaround customer orders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating heavy-duty industrial sewing machines (experience with marine canvas, heavy upholstery, or industrial materials is strongly preferred).
• Ability to work flexible, on-demand hours based on project volume.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy rolls or fabric panels (up to 30–40 lbs).
• Complete training on our specific product design and assembly will be provided.
