Sheet Metal Fab Shop Mechanic - Commercial

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Sheet Metal Fab Shop Mechanic to join our commercial construction team in Round Rock, Texas.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with sheet metal, fabrication equipment, and tools and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components for commercial construction projects.
Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication details.
Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
Measure, cut, bend, drill, and assemble sheet metal accurately.
Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication shop.
Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and company standards.

Requirements

Previous sheet metal fabrication or mechanical shop experience preferred.
Experience with commercial HVAC or construction-related sheet metal is a plus.
Ability to read measurements, drawings, and fabrication instructions.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift and handle sheet metal and materials safely.
