Sheet Metal Workers and Duct Installers .

This project will involve commercial/industrial sheet metal and HVAC duct installation. We are looking for experienced workers who take pride in their craft, work safely, and can perform as part of a professional construction team.

Project Requirements

Applicants for this project must:

Have a valid driver's license

Be able to pass a background check
Have reliable transportation
Be able to meet all project and site-access requirements
Follow all jobsite safety requirements
Be dependable and report to work on time

Workers may be responsible for:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Installing commercial and industrial HVAC ductwork
Installing rectangular, round, spiral, and specialty duct systems
Laying out, measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling sheet metal components
Installing hangers, supports, duct accessories, and related components
Using hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other equipment associated with the sheet metal trade
Working from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts as required
Following OSHA, project, and contractor safety requirements
Coordinating with foremen and other trades to complete work safely and efficiently

Qualifications

Preferred applicants should have experience in commercial or industrial sheet metal construction. Applicants should be able to:

Read a tape measure and understand basic sheet metal layout

Read construction drawings and blueprints
Safely use common sheet metal hand and power tools
Install ductwork according to plans and specifications
Work safely and productively as part of a crew
Perform the physical requirements of the sheet metal trade
Journeypersons, apprentices, and other qualified sheet metal workers may be considered based on experience and project manpower needs.
