Since 2002, SolarKing has designed, built, and installed commercial solar lighting across the Southwest, with 10,000+ systems in the field. We serve HOAs, property managers, municipalities, and home builders. We're a small, hands-on team where your work matters and gets noticed.

The Role

Your time will be split between our Phoenix shop, assembling solar lighting systems, and the field, handling installations, repairs, and maintenance with our crew.

Shop Responsibilities

• Assemble light fixtures, battery enclosures, poles, and solar panel mounts to spec
• Wire and test electrical components (LED fixtures, charge controllers, lithium batteries)
• Follow assembly drawings and spec sheets
• Keep inventory organized and flag low stock
• Maintain a clean, safe shop

Field Responsibilities

• Dig footings and trenches for pole installs
• Set poles, mount fixtures, and commission new systems
• Diagnose and repair systems in the field (batteries, fixtures, controllers)
• Perform routine maintenance on existing installations
• Work from ladders

Requirements

• Able to lift 80+ lbs and do physical work outdoors in Arizona heat
• Comfortable working on ladders (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Dependable and on time, every day

Nice to Have
• Experience in electrical, solar, fabrication, construction, or landscaping

Schedule

Early shifts to beat the heat: 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM depending on the season. Afternoons are yours.

Pay & Perks

• $23 to $25/hr based on experience
