Shop & Field Equipment Technician

We are looking for an entry level motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a Shop and Field Equipment Technician. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working on equipment, solving problems, and helping keep construction operations running smoothly. This position offers a variety of work both in our shop and on construction job sites. No two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on construction equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate major repairs when necessary
• Keep equipment organized and clean
• Assist crews with general labor and job site support when needed
• Operate skid steers, lifts, trailers, and other equipment
• Maintain equipment service records

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience working on equipment, or machinery
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience operating construction equipment is a plus
• Hydraulic, diesel, or small engine experience is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors year-round
