Shop Foreman

J&K Commercial Construction is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our fabrication team. We specialize in custom stainless-steel fabrication and installation for commercial kitchens throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily shop operations and production schedules
• Manage and support a team of fabricators, welders, and shop personnel
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate workflow to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Ensure all fabrication meets company quality standards
• Train, mentor, and develop shop employees
• Monitor inventory, material usage, and equipment maintenance needs
• Coordinate with project managers, field installers, and purchasing staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal or stainless-steel fabrication
• Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and custom stainless fabrication
• Proficiency in TIG welding, grinding, polishing, and fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in running press brake and laser
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience with production scheduling and workflow management
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license required

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $35.00-$40.00 per hour DOE

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Optional and occasional mandatory overtime
