Shop Hand / Welder / Fabricator

Welding and fabrication studio seeking shop hand.

Seeking entry level position for general shop help. Interest in welding, woodworking, art, design, architecture a must however we can do on the job training for all the skills needed. This is a part time job with the possibility of full time in the future. Must be reliable and incredible attention to details and a willingness to learn. This is a small studio and operation so you will be required to do your part in all aspects including cleaning, taking out trash, maintenance. Must be able to pick up heavy items and stay busy even when no task are currently given.

We will teach you how to read basic shop drawings, process material, cutting, grinding, sanding, and possibly welding. Additional assistance will be needed on installations and field work. Great position for college aged person looking to get into craft and design.

This is entry level so pay will reflect that.
