Shop pipe welders/fabricators

We are seeking experienced Shop Pipe Welders/Fabricators for a growing commercial mechanical contractor in Round Rock, TX. This position is based in a fabrication shop and involves building carbon steel and galvanized piping systems ranging from 2" to 12" diameter for commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld carbon steel and galvanized pipe assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, spool sheets, and isometric drawings
• Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble piping systems
• Perform TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding
• Fabricate pipe spools and assemblies to project specifications
• Operate shop equipment and maintain a safe work environment
• Ensure all work meets quality and production standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of pipe welding and fabrication experience
• Experience working with carbon steel and galvanized piping
• Proficient with TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding processes
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and perform accurate layout work
• Experience fabricating pipe from 2" to 12" diameter
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
