Sign Installer / Electrical - Construction Trades Welcome - $20-$30/hr

Westlund Concepts (WC Signs) is hiring a Sign Installer in Lapel, IN - about 35 minutes northeast of Indianapolis, just off I-69.
$20-$30/hour based on experience, plus overtime.
Monday through Thursday. Every weekend is a three-day weekend.
We fabricate, print, and install commercial signage and imaging. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of installs in the field - channel letters, monument signs, vinyl graphics, detailed displays, electrical troubleshooting, and service work.
Sign experience is strongly preferred, but if you come out of commercial electrical or construction installation and have the technical skills, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead on-site commercial sign installs and make sure the work matches the approved proof pack
• Electrical work and field troubleshooting - wiring, LEDs, structural and installation issues
• Site prep, removal of existing signage, on-site painting, cleaning, and finish work
• Safely run lifts, bucket trucks, tools, and company vehicles; load, haul, and secure materials
• Sign maintenance, service, and repairs
• Keep Project Managers updated on job status and field conditions; upload completion photos and paperwork
• Work to OSHA, NEC, and all applicable safety requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years in sign installation, the electrical trades, or commercial construction installation
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and able to obtain a DOT physical
• Working knowledge of electrical wiring, LEDs, and troubleshooting - or strong electrical aptitude
• Confident with hand and power tools
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors year-round
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or with a crew

NICE TO HAVE (not required)

• Commercial sign installation experience
• Welding certifications or welding experience
• CDL Class B
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Bucket truck, boom lift, scissor lift, or forklift experience
• Availability for occasional travel

PAY AND BENEFITS

• $20-$30/hour depending on experience, plus overtime
• 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday
