Skilled Architectural Metal Fabricator / Welder

Location: Spring Valley, CA

Pay: $40.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Shop Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: 8–12 hour days as required

We are a growing architectural metal fabrication company seeking a highly skilled artisan and craftsman to join our team. We are not looking for a production welder—we're looking for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and building high-end custom architectural metalwork.

Our projects include custom gates, railings, fences, stairs, structural steel, and one-of-a-kind architectural features. Every project is different, requiring problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing exceptional work.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong fabrication, fitting, and layout skills
Proficient in TIG and MIG welding
Extensive experience working with:
Mild Steel
Stainless Steel
Aluminum
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Ability to fabricate from raw material with minimal supervision
Produce clean, high-quality architectural work with excellent attention to detail
Forklift experience (required)
Physical & Job Requirements
Ability to lift 70 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the day
Willingness to work 8–12 hour shifts when project schedules require
Occasional field installation work at project sites up to 150 miles from our Spring Valley shop may be required.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license (required)
Reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience with custom architectural metal fabrication
Precision fit-up and cosmetic welding experience
Experience operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, ironworkers, cold saws, and band saws
Overhead crane experience
