Skilled Carpenter

Job Summary

We are looking for a Skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential or commercial carpentry and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, doors, windows, cabinets, drywall, and trim.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Assist with project planning and material estimation when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational training or carpentry apprenticeship.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or finish carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
