Skilled Carpenter Needed – Up to $35/hr

An established NYC contracting firm is hiring a SKILLED and EXPERIENCED CARPENTER for full-time work. This is NOT a handyman, maintenance, helper, or apprentice position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of consecutive hands-on carpentry experience
• Strong communication skills via email and apps (Slack, etc.)
• 30-Hour OSHA Certification
• Eligible to work legally in the U.S.
• Fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing
• Clean-cut, professional appearance
• Punctual, organized, and dependable

SKILLS MUST INCLUDE:

• Framing to finish carpentry
• Material calculations and take-offs
• Installation of:
• Suspended acoustical ceilings
• Flooring (wood, vinyl, etc.)
• Demolition
• Installing wood and metal doors with hardware
• Cabinet installation
• Patching and painting
• Trim and finish carpentry

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of other trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Knowledge of ceramic tile installation
• Valid driver’s license and driving experience in NYC

COMPENSATION:

Up to $35/hour depending on experience.
