Skilled Carpenter/General Contractor

We are seeking dependable, experienced Skilled Carpenters/General Contractors to rehab two-bedroom apartment units in the Columbus area for R. Simpson Properties.
Responsibilities:

• Install and replace windows and exterior/interior doors
• Perform rough and finish carpentry
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and additions
• Install hardwood, laminate, LVP, and other flooring
• Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, and cabinetry
• Complete remodeling and renovation projects
• Read blueprints and accurately measure/layout projects
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Communicate professionally with staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of carpentry or general construction experience preferred
• Experience with framing, doors, windows, flooring, and finish carpentry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Self-motivated, dependable, and punctual

Preferred Skills:

• Drywall installation and repair
• Siding
• Framing
• Painting
• Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
