Skilled Contract Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Supplemental Work)

We are an established facility maintenance company with 19 years in business, seeking skilled, experienced technicians who want to supplement their current income with consistent, flexible work. Jobs can be scheduled around your existing workload.

In this service area, the average annual workflow per technician is approximately $10,000–$25,000, with opportunities for additional work based on availability and performance.

Most work orders are straightforward, well-scoped jobs, typically taking 2–4 hours, and are performed at retail stores, restaurants, and medical offices. Larger projects are available for technicians who have helpers or a small crew.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in facility or commercial maintenance
• Licensed in applicable trades (as required)
• Insured
• Own truck and professional-grade tools
• Smartphone required to receive and update work orders through our app
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Typical Work Includes:

• Carpentry: drawers, cabinets, shelving, minor repairs
• Basic plumbing: flush valve replacements, faucet replacements
• Basic electrical: lamp and fixture changes (no high-voltage work)
• Drywall: patching and repair of damaged drywall
• Flooring: loose tile and laminate flooring repairs
• Basic mechanical: troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Painting: touch-ups, color and sheen matching

This is independent contractor work, ideal for experienced technicians who value steady supplemental income, clear scopes, and long-term relationships.
