Furniture Restoration & Woodworking Opportunity (Full-Time Position)
We are a small local business specializing in high-quality antique and vintage furnishings and are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person with experience working on wood furniture to join our team.
The work includes refreshing, restoring, and light refinishing of pieces such as tables, chairs, side tables, and small dressers. Most projects involve preparing furniture for resale and presentation rather than major full-strip restoration work.
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.
Our shop is located in a quiet area of Blairstown, New Jersey, with scenic mountain views and a pleasant working environment. We exclusively use waterborne finishing materials, creating a cleaner and lower-odor workspace.
We are seeking someone who is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
Ideal experience includes:
- Furniture cleaning and detailing
- Touch-up and finish repair work
- Staining and finish restoration
- Light sanding and refinishing
- Minor furniture repairs
