Skilled Horseman/ Groom/ Knowledge of Equine Nutrition

$22 - $25 and hour depending on skill and if your previous references are glowing.
This is not an entry level job. I can't use anyone who is afraid or too timid to lead 2-4 well mannered horses at the same time. We are a small farm at only 12 acres. The horses are all well mannered. No stallions. This job does not require very much heavy labor. The job incudes keeping the feed and meds organized. The barn and tack organized , feeding, meds , turn in and out, some grooming, bathing, Sometimes a stall or two will need mucked but those 2-3 stalls is it for the heavy lifting. Most of the horses live out in the run in sheds. Some come in to stalls to eat and get treatments or medicines.
You need to speak English well enough to converse comfortably and understand directions from an English speaking person.
This is a PT job. It is designed to be 5 days a week but it can be a minimum of 3 days ( if we work that out).
The choices of schedule are:
6A-8:30A Thur-Mon with T and W off.
Or
6P- 8:30P Thur- Mon with T and W off.
These are the summer hours.

In fall and winter the evening shift can be earlier at 4:30-7P for better daylight.

I will need 2 references from your previous farm employers.

Job can start immediately.
