SKILLED ROOFER / SIDING INSTALLER NEEDED – $45/HR – PAID DAILY

Looking for an experienced construction worker/subcontractor to help with finish-up work on active projects in Missoula.

START DATE: Monday, August 10th

PAY: $45/hour – paid daily
LOCATION: Missoula, MT
FULL DAY OF WORK AVAILABLE MONDAY
TOOLS PROVIDED IF NEEDED
1099 INDEPENDENT SUBCONTRACTOR – NOT AN EMPLOYEE POSITION

We have a full day's worth of work available tomorrow, Monday, August 10th, and need someone who can start immediately.

The current work primarily consists of finishing up architectural asphalt shingle roofing, LP lap siding, and several miscellaneous construction/punch-list items.

IMPORTANT – THIS IS NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION.

After Monday, this will be as-needed subcontract work. Some weeks we may have additional work available and other weeks we may not. There is no guaranteed number of hours. This would be a good fit for an experienced roofer, siding installer, carpenter, handyman, or construction professional looking to fill open days or pick up additional work between other projects.

We recently lost one of our regular subcontractors due to a back injury, which has left us with several smaller items that need to be completed.

We have multiple active projects and several new projects coming up throughout Missoula, so there is definitely potential for additional and potentially ongoing subcontract work for the right person. However, we want to be upfront that we are currently hiring on an as-needed basis only.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR ARRANGEMENT:

This work will be performed under a signed 1099 independent subcontractor agreement, not as a W-2 employee. The subcontractor is responsible for their own taxes and obligations associated with independent contractor work. This does not include employee benefits or employee workers' compensation coverage.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience installing architectural asphalt shingles
• Experience installing LP lap siding or similar siding
• General construction/finish-work experience is a plus
• Dependable and capable of completing work independently
• Reliable transportation
• Available to start Monday, August 10th
• Tools are not required – we can provide what is needed

$45/hour – Paid Daily

There is a full day available Monday, followed by additional work on an as-needed basis. If you're skilled, dependable, and work well with us, this could lead to considerably more subcontract work as our upcoming projects get underway.
