Small Engine Diagnostician and Mechanic

**Please note that we are located on the NE side between Windcrest and Converse. You must have reliable transportation (car, bus, etc.) to this area to be considered.**

Big T’s Small Engine Repair is seeking 1. mechanics who are paid per machine, and 2. an experienced Mechanical Diagnostician. The right candidates for both positions will have small engine mechanical experience. Diagnosticians will able to diagnose on the spot and repair small engine machines. You will be given a paid test on an actual machine before you are hired.

Machines are 2 and 4 cycle and include lawnmowers, four wheelers, scooters, trimmers, blowers, go karts etc. While the candidate must have knowledge and experience in small engine mechanics, certification and update schools are covered by our company. You must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

For the first 90 days, the candidate will be a 1099 employee. After 90 days, the candidate will have the opportunity to become a W2 employee with regular raises, paid holidays, and paid time off.

We are a family-owned small business. Our hours of operation are Saturday from 10-5, Sunday from 12-5, and Monday through Wednesday from 9-5. We are closed on Thursdays and Fridays. Duties include opening and closing shop, and employees must be available before and after business hours for the time it takes to complete those duties.
