Small equipment repair mechanic

Established equipment repair shop Specializing in restoration and water damage drying equipment is looking for an experienced Equipment Mechanic/technician to join our team.

We repair and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial equipment inncluding:

• Dehumidifiers (refrigerant and dessiccant)
• Air Movers / Fans
• Air Scrubbers / HEPA Filtration Systems

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and refrigeration issues
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
• Test and certify equipment for rental or resale
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble units efficiently
• Keep detail and repair records

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Previous experience repairing dehumidifiers, air movers, or similar restoration equipment is a big plus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Detail oriented with good work ethic
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
