Solar Service Technician

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Solar Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential solar PV and battery systems.
Responsibilities:

• Perform service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs on solar PV and battery systems
• Safely climb and work on rooftops
• Inspect systems for performance issues and equipment failures
• Work directly with manufacturers to process and approve RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) claims
• Replace inverters, optimizers, batteries, modules, and other system components
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings clearly with customers and team members

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working on roofs
• Ability to lift and carry equipment safely
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with solar equipment manufacturers and warranty claims is a plus
• Experience with Tesla, SolarEdge, and Enphase systems preferred
• Solar experience preferred (installation or service)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
