Spray Painter Needed for High-Gloss Automotive Finish

We are looking for an experienced freelance spray painter to apply a smooth, high-gloss lacquer or automotive-style finish to a set of Dibond aluminum composite panels.

The finish must be very clean and professional, with minimal orange peel, dust, runs, or visible spray overlap. Experience with automotive paint, millwork finishing, scenic fabrication, retail displays, or high-end cabinetry is preferred.

Ideal candidate will have:

Experience spraying high-gloss finishes

Knowledge of proper surface preparation, priming, color application, clear coating, wet sanding, and polishing
Ability to recommend a compatible coating system for Dibond
Good attention to detail
Reliable transportation and availability in the NYC area

We have a ventilated spray area available, although candidates with access to their own professional spray space are also encouraged to respond.
