SPRINKLER INSTALLER / SPRINKLER MECHANIC – NYC

We are looking for someone who specializes in fire sprinkler systems and has hands-on experience with installation, repairs, alterations, and testing.
Responsibilities:
Install new fire sprinkler systems
Perform sprinkler system alterations and repairs
Read and work from sprinkler drawings and approved plans
Measure, cut, thread, groove, and install sprinkler piping
Install concealed, upright, pendant, and sidewall sprinkler heads
Perform hydrostatic and other required system testing
Troubleshoot leaks and sprinkler system deficiencies
Complete work in accordance with NYC codes, approved plans, and applicable NFPA requirements

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on fire sprinkler installation experience preferred
Strong knowledge of commercial and residential sprinkler systems
Must be able to independently perform sprinkler installation and repair work
Ability to read sprinkler drawings and determine field installation requirements
Experience working on projects throughout NYC
Knowledge of NYC DOB and FDNY requirements preferred
OSHA certification preferred
F-60 or G-60 - S12 Certificates of Fitness are a plus
Valid driver's license is a plus
Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
