Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Grinder – Custom Fabrication Shop

We are a custom stainless steel fabrication shop specializing in commercial kitchen equipment, and we are looking to add an experienced Stainless Steel Grinder / Finisher to our team.

Responsibilities:

Grind, polish, and finish stainless steel components to a high-quality standard
Work with thin gauge stainless steel (12 gauge through 20 gauge)
Blend welds and match grain finishes (No. 4, brushed, etc.)
Ensure surfaces are clean, consistent, and free of defects
Assist with general shop fabrication as needed

Requirements:

Experience grinding and finishing stainless steel (not structural steel)
Ability to work with light gauge materials without warping or damage
Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, flap discs, and polishing equipment
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read basic shop drawings is a plus

Preferred:

Experience in commercial kitchen equipment fabrication a plus
