Description

Seeking individual to participate in fabricating stone sculpture in well-established Santa Fe studio. fabricating involves cutting and polishing stone with diamond saws, grinders and hand held polishers, basic woodworking and metal cutting. Traveling throughout the year in one to two week increments is also part of the position. Traveling involves working art shows and installing sculptures and other landscaping type duties.

Experience in (any) building trades, carving stone, woodworking, metal working, use of hand and power tools large and small, driving basic trucks (flatbeds, etc) and forklifts, pulling trailers, mechanical work, stage crew or other crew related experience and any positions where working in shops with others should be presented.

This individual would work closely with the owner of the company.
A flexible schedule is necessary as out-of-state travel for art shows and stocking galleries happens throughout the year.
